We have all had those moments. You are talking to ChatGPT and it says something funny, sharp, or surprisingly human, and you immediately want to show someone.

But how?

A phone screenshot is the usual answer, and phone screenshots are ugly. They include your status bar, your battery percentage, the browser address bar. If the exchange runs longer than one screen you end up taking several and trying to stitch them together.

There is a cleaner way. This article shows how to use iLoveAI to turn part of a conversation into a tidy image, sized for Instagram, X and anywhere else.

The Solution: The Share Image Button

iLoveAI (ilove-ai.net) is not only for browsing and organizing your history. Any conversation you have loaded can be turned into an image.

• Clean: No phone UI, no browser chrome. Just the exchange, on a dark card.
• The right shape: The image is 1080 x 1350 (4:5), which is the tallest ratio Instagram shows without cropping, and it works on X too.
• Works on your phone: The same button is in the header on mobile and on desktop.
• Nothing is uploaded: The image is drawn by your own browser on a canvas. The conversation is never sent to a server, not even to make the picture.

How to Create and Share a Chat Image

Step 1: Open the Conversation

Load your history into iLoveAI and open the conversation you want to share. (See our guide on how to load your history).

Step 2: Scroll to the Part You Want

The image starts from whatever message is at the top of your screen, so scroll until the exchange you care about is at the top. It then adds the messages that follow, until the card is full, which is usually a handful of messages. If there was more it could not fit, the image ends with an ellipsis so the picture does not pretend to be the whole conversation.

Step 3: Tap the Image Button

In the conversation header, on the right, there is an image icon. Tap it.

Step 4: Preview, Then Download or Share

A preview appears with the finished card: the conversation title, its date, the number of messages, the model that answered, and the exchange itself, with your messages on the right and the AI's on the left. The iLoveAI mark sits at the bottom.

1. Download saves the PNG to your photos or your computer.
2. Share opens your phone's share sheet, so you can post straight to Instagram, X, WhatsApp and the rest. On a desktop browser, where the share sheet cannot take image files, this falls back to downloading.
